The Charter Township of Northville chose CB&I to build an elevated steel tank in Northville, Michigan. CB&I was responsible for the engineering, fabrication and construction of the tank.

This 1,000,000 gallon Waterspheroid® elevated tank was constructed with an interior suspended ceiling and insulated lower bell area that provides a controlled environment for the owner’s telemetry and sensing equipment. The tank has an overall height of 180 feet and a maximum outer diameter of 74 feet 8 inches.

The tank was constructed on the north edge of the Northville Community Park among a large grove of trees adjacent to the Northville Christian Living Center.

The exterior graphics enhancing the tank included the Township of Northville Logo and two circumferential bands. The tank both blends in with the surroundings and stands out to provide a tank of which the community can be proud.
